One day learning programme exploring both professional and young people's views on County Lines

Target Audience

The course is suitable for individuals or teams working with, engaging with and caring for young people in a range of settings such as homes, schools, youth clubs, youth offending and professionals working in the social care services.


Course Overview

County Lines has become a national epidemic in the UK and anyone working with children/young people should be aware of what it is and the impact it is having on children, young people, families and the wider community. 

This course was developed with young people from Feltham HMYOI involved in County Lines activity and highlights different perspectives of County Lines, attitudes, risk factors, protective factors and safeguarding tips.

The course also highlights how County Lines operates and the impact it has on individuals, groups, families, communities and society in general.

It will equip participants with knowledge to support children and young people that may be exposed to County Lines activity.
