Kickstart Youth Employment
Scheme supporting NEET sixteen - twenty-four year olds into employment.
One of FEIE’s organisational aims is to create nurturing environments where individuals and groups are enabled to appreciate who they are, recognise their strengths and are empowered to realise their full potential.
The Kickstart Scheme seeks to address this aim and is dedicated to delivering a service that enables Not in Education Employment or Training (NEET) sixteen - twenty-four year olds to enter the world of employment with relevant and appropriate support.
The Scheme is concerned with the rate of unemployment and seeks to address the high numbers that currently exist by supporting employers to take on a trainee staff member at no cost to them.
Our programme will provide the relevant training and support to the young people wishing to enter the world of employment so they are job ready and experience a smooth transition from unemployment to employment.
Employers simultaneously benefit from this Programme as they gain an employee whose salary is covered and is supported for six months at no cost to them.
Employers can have more than one Kickstart employee but they need to meet the Programme requirements/standards.
Criteria that Employees must meet are highlighted in the pre-registration questionnaire provided below:
Once an employer meets these requirements and provides us with a job description and person specification we get to work identifying a suitable candidate to be placed with you.
