Projects & Programmes

At Forward Ever, we deliver a range of workshops, programmes and projects for young people, vulnerable groups and marginalised communities

Workshops

Our workshops empower young people, especially those facing complex issues, by offering a brave space for exploration, expression, and skill-building towards their potential. Tailored to address specific youth challenges, our experienced facilitators excel in delivering engaging sessions that resonate with young people. These workshops are ideal for educational bodies, community organisations, and youth services, enhancing their existing provisions with specialised support.

Programmes

Our Youth Programmes foster resilience, creativity, and personal growth among young people facing multiple adversities. We offer two programs that provide young people the support and inspiration to navigate their challenges and unlock their potential. By integrating our specialised programs into your existing service, you can provide targeted, impactful interventions that address the unique needs of the young people you serve.

Projects

Our projects are dedicated to creating lasting impact through innovative initiatives that empower young people, vulnerable groups and marginalised communities. We focus on building strong partnerships to deliver these projects, ensuring they reach those who need them most and have a meaningful, positive influence on their lives.

Workshops

Living in the 21st century without engaging with the Metaverse seems unimaginable for many, as it has become a crucial part of our daily lives.

This workshop provides an introduction and overview of the Metaverse. Participants will learn to establish a positive online identity, navigate the Metaverse securely, cultivate positive relationships, and maximise the potential from these social media platforms.

This workshop explores the global history and evolution of MC-ing, charting its journey across genres and countries. It covers essential aspects like rhyming, lyric-writing, song structure, delivery, vocal projection, and both studio and stage performance.

Participants will gain the skills to create and perform their own lyrics, with support to confidently present their work to an audience.

This workshop is perfect for those new to music production, particularly fans of bass-driven electronic music. Participants will learn to use essential software and hardware to create their own tracks.

All tutors are accomplished music producers, offering industry tips and expertise throughout the course.

This workshop is delivered in partnership with the Daisy Roots Movement, a dance collective founded by Melodie Brannan.

Participants learn key techniques like body movement, timing, and expression and work on a routine leading to a performance. The workshop spans six sessions, with the option for a final performance, depending on resources and restrictions.

This workshop covers the anatomy of the voice, vocal health, technique, artist development, rehearsal strategies, and live performance skills.

Participants will learn effective warm-ups, improve vocal range and tone, develop an onstage persona, enhance vocal projection, and plan a live performance repertoire. By the end, participants will have the tools to prepare and perform a set of songs live.

Our identities are influenced by our environment and societal constructs, which may not always align with our evolving sense of self. These transitions can cause internal conflict as we navigate between our authentic self and societal expectations.

This workshop invites participants to explore their identity and foster a healthy relationship with themselves.

This workshop covers essential aspects of preparing for the workplace, including understanding employability, creating a CV, interview preparation, and maintaining work standards.

Participants will gain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to confidently seek and maintain employment.

People often look for scapegoats to avoid blame when things don’t go as planned, but this doesn’t absolve them of their role in the situation.

This workshop helps individuals recognise the impact of their thoughts, words, and behaviour, explores the challenges of self-accountability, and provides tools to reflect, overcome denial, and take responsibility for their choices.

Projects

Young Policy Advocates

We are developing an exciting new project, Young Policy Advocates, aimed at equipping young people aged 14-21 with the skills and knowledge to engage with and influence public policy.

We invite potential sponsors and partners to collaborate with us in shaping this impactful initiative. Your support can help amplify youth voices and foster the next generation of changemakers.

If you work with young people aged 14-21, we encourage you to share our short questionnaire to help inform the project’s development.

Rap School of Life

In collaboration with Kanzi and Hip Hop HEALS, the Rap School of Life provides empowering resources for marginalised individuals and communities. By using Trauma-Informed Hip Hop, we help overcome language barriers and process trauma. Our innovative health project leverages the therapeutic tools of Hip Hop, along with music, writing, and performance, to encourage emotional self-regulation and enhance language skills.

Together, we are offering online arts facilitator training, as well as self-care and language learning community workshops in Berlin and Birmingham. These initiatives are grounded in the approaches and methods we’ve developed through our work in the arts, education, and social care settings.
